Karen S. Migues, 56, passed away peacefully Monday, July 9, 2007, after a two year battle with cancer. A Jacksonville native, Karen was born on February 13, 1951 to William and Sadie Struth. She received a B.S. degree in Biology at JU and went on to more than 20 years of service at the Florida Department of Health. The proud mother of three girls, Karen devoted her life and love to her family. She will be remembered always as a kind and giving Christian woman. She is survived by her mother Sadie Struth; her brothers Andy and Alan Struth; her sister Neva Schwind; and her three daughters Kristin, Erika, and Angela Migues. Karen will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. There will be a memorial service to honor her life on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 12:00 pm at the University Boulevard Nazarene Church, 3930 University Blvd. South. Donations made in her name to the American Cancer Society will be graciously accepted at the service.
