I was born in Pittsburgh Pa. and moved to Jacksonville Florida when I was going into the 3rd grade.

I moved to Houston Texas in 1965 with my husband and 2 children.

I am the oldest of 5 children and only girl.

I graduated from Paxon High School in Jacksonville, Florida and 2 years afterwards was married.

I have 2 children,  1 boy and 1 girl.  I have 2 grandsons that are my sons.  They all live in Houston.

I take care of my grandsons after school every day and all day when they are off and in the summer.

I was married for 43 years and have been a widow for about 5.

I used to be a program co ordinator in an alzheimers unit and an activity director before that.

I like to dance, camp, outdoor activities, travel, family, friends.

I belong to a singles support group that has about 160 members.

I could be busy every night of the week if I wanted to.

I set up a dinner every Tues. nite for the group at different restaurants.  About 20-30 attend and I host it.

I have a Rat terrier named Sparky and a cocateil named DJ. to keep me company.
